What's Up with Me & POF you ask:
My curiosity and thirst for the “adventurous” path has led me to this online world. Here are my observations after 6 months on pof:
1) there are TONS of men looking for something extra
2) the online world is diverse and interesting
3) there are many stories unfolding during online communications, real, fake or otherwise
4) people are generally good
5) men who say they are good looking, or have *ahem certain attributes, usually are telling the truth (which is refreshing)
6) there are so many men in my age range who want to stay in their current rel'ships, but want to experience the excitement and thrills of a new woman
7) finally, there are just 'so many men and so little time' - what to do, what to do....lol
About my Age Category:
I hear a lot of positive feedback about women in their 40’s.
Men say we know what we want, we know who we are, and have an established life.
Women in their 50’s tell me that the 40’s were the best years – they loved their independence from kids growing up, established careers and physically felt energetic and fabulous.
And we can’t forget the idea of ‘older women and their libido” as per relationship psychologist Susan Quilliam, co-author of The New Joy of Sex. So where am I at now?
My curious side is being satisfied. It is enjoyable to learn and share and especially to exchange stories about life adventures. I have expressed interest in talk/chat, for this is where I experience good safe fun. Definitely not into the aggressive sex talk or webcams.
