I do have a sarcastic side, and would like to meet someone who is also sarcastic. I like stand-up comedy (Doug Stanhope!), and would like to go to a show as a first date.

I've been online quite a bit, and have been burned before, so I am a bit cautious.

I do have a serious side, but I would prefer to keep time with dates and partners on the fun side. Most of the time that I've had to be "serious," something bad was happening or had happened, so . . . let's keep things on the fun side as much as we can, OK?

I'm a NON-smoker, not an anti-smoker, meaning that while I don't smoke, I don't mind if you do -- both of my parents smoked for 20-plus years, and a few of my co-workers and close friends smoked for a while, so it doesn't bother me (long as it's not crack -- I'm also "420 friendly").
