I am Texan, but I've spent a good part of my life living other places. I just returned from another overseas stint and am very glad to be home. I teach at UT, which is a lot of fun, but I'm looking for a way out of academia. I really like creating - gardening, building, writing and shooting little film projects, brewing beer, cooking, dabbling in music. I love hiking and camping and canoeing and investigating the things that make up the world.
