Hi, my name is Tom. I have had some mixed success with this “on-line“ dating thing, but being the eternal optimist, (or moron, I’m never sure which) I am trying it again. I am 58 years old, 5'9", 155 lbs., and make an effort to take care of myself. I eat right, exercise, and I quit smoking cigarettes about 6 years ago. I'm semi-retired, with some real estate holdings. I like to live a simple, stress free life, and try to avoid drama at all costs! I try very hard to be as honest and truthful as I can be, (sometimes to a fault), and have no use for those who aren't. I enjoy hanging out around the lake, beverages and lively banter around the bon-fire with friends and neighbors, and playing cards. I wore a suit for many years, now jeans and a t-shirt is the dress of the day. I like fishing and boating, old movies, R&B and cooking, especially on the grill. I am divorced with no children, so I have very little baggage, unless you count Caesar, a kitten I rescued not to long ago from the Humane Society. Well, I guess that's enough about me. Now, let's talk about you. You don't have to be a genius, but you should be able to communicate in complete sentences, with a minimum of double negatives, and think bald guys are sexy. You will need to be able to walk a mile without having a heart attack, and be able to put down a bag of chips without eating the whole thing in one terrifying feeding frenzy. Please understand I am not looking for a "Barbie" type, quite the opposite. I prefer curves, ( this means you think you need to lose 5-12 lbs, not 30, 40 or more. Sorry….) You will have a good sense of humor, (believe me, you’ll need it), single, drama free, have some sort of normal income, have a house or an apartment and a car. You will have to be able to handle your liquor, and undoubtedly put up with stupid, boring stories I am bound to bombard you with. Your age is not that important, but if your idea of "slipping into something more comfortable" means shuffling off in your walker to change into dry Depends, well, that might be a problem. So, do you know a nice lady that might like this nice guy?
