So I suppose this is where I sell myself? I think I'd rather be honest.
I like cities, but would go on the occasional hike. I like to pick a direction and explore anything interesting that I pass by. I prefer dive bars with a pool table and dart board instead of trendy dance clubs.

I'm a professional computer geek, but I'm a regional manager so I tend to fly to fun cities all over the country and explore on the off-hours. I have a recent fascination with British scifi like RedDwarf and Doctor Who, but love pretty much any scifi other than those damn giant mutant animal movies. I read mostly series like Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan, David Eddings or anything series with a decent number of books.

I would much rather laugh that worry, and tend to talk a little too much. I like to tell stories (I almost always have a story about any topic). I'm a gamer. Mostly PC, since I haven't liked a console since SNES. I am slowly coming around to the dark side, since my roommate has a 360 and Wii.

I've been out on my own, so no parent's basement here. But I am on good terms with my family. I'm much more a cat person than a dog person. I'm more of a grunge and ska type of guy, but I like music from metal to punk to a little jazz. Bands like David Brubeck, Tenacious D, Alkaline Trio, Mad Caddies, Rise Against, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Pink Flloyd, Local H, and many others. I play guitar, not just strum a few chords. I'm a little bit of a mechanic and have an ongoing project rebuilding a classic car.

I'm looking for someone I can talk geek to. Someone who doesn't mind watching an ATHF marathon, or Sealab 2021. Someone who can accept the only dancing I can do is swing. Someone who likes the rumble of a muscle car and won't mind to much when I drool at car shows. Someone who will support my sporadic attempts to stay in shape and will do the same. Tattoos and piercings++, but not required. Also, I believe a relationship is two people sharing and melding their lives. Greg Behrendt's flipside cracker bit sums it up.

For first dates, I like to go to a good restaurant or a pub with a good beer selection. Someplace to talk and get to know someone.
