I was divorced in 2005 after 20 years of marriage. I have 2 sons that are grown and on their own. So now I am ready to find someone for me. I knew that I wasn't looking for someone until they were on their own because I didn't want to make the new man in my life feel responsible for them. And I wasn't looking for someone to replace their dad. After all no matter what happened between him and me, he is still their father. But don't get me wrong, their opinion is very important to me. I know that whoever comes into my life will have to remember that they are still my children. And they are still a part of me. However, not as much as they use to be.

I am a full-time accountant for a family-owned business. I have been employed there since 1999. I enjoy going to work and doing what I do. I have the perfect job.

I am very independent and not a needy person. But I would like someone to be a part of my life. I get tired of my own company night after night, if you know what I mean. Having friends to share things with is great but it is not the same thing as sharing with that special someone. So that is what I am looking for.

As far as interests and hobbies, I enjoy traveling, shopping (don't worry I can do that by myself and be content to do so), dining out, exploring new adventures, spending time with family and friends, live sporting events especially Cardinal baseball, The Muny, The Fox, and concerts to name a few things. I also work out several times a week to keep fit. I love to laugh.

Meeting somewhere quite so we could talk and get to know each other better. Some place where we would not be rushed to get in and out in case we would like to sit for awhile and talk. Or if you have something more interesting, I would be willing to listen as long as it was a public setting.
