I'm an easy-going, intelligent widow, 49 years old, in great physical shape, healthy, active and looking for someone to spend some time with and maybe get to know well. I love to cook, especially with a guy who shares the interest, then eat together in romantic light with soft jazz in the background. I do the outdoors stuff, within limits (no extreme hiking, marathoning etc) like camping, fishing, walks in the woods, biking, hanging at the beach etc. I was born jewish, but havent practiced in years. My boys are 17 and 20 years old so they are independent. I love to go out for a few drinks, hear some good music and then go home and give my man a nice long full body massage. I have taken great pride in keeping myself up, staying fit, raising my boys and staying sane as a single woman. I'm not looking right now for any specific long-term commitment, just some good company, intelligent conversation, some comfortable physical contact and see where it goes. I'm not particularly goal oriented or driven, just want to live my life the best I can, have some fun and meet some new people. I'm good at being social, and usually people like me and appreciate my sense of humor, my ability to listen without feeling like I need to speak, and my laid-back approach to most aspects of life. Education, proper grammar, nice manners and good common sense are very important to me. I like a man who's respectful, but with an edge to him...nice, but not a butt kisser and who can be a little raw when the time is right.

after talking and/or e mailing for long enough to be comfortable, the ideal first date for me would be a trip to a good market together for ingredients for a romantic meal. Conversation comes so easily while together in the kitchen sipping wine...then share the meal, music, talk. After dinner a nice walk if the weather's good or maybe a drive to get some ice cream or frozen custard. Neutral territory may be best for a first, and i do love to go out, but I also like to hang at home listening to music and playing a game or just chatting over more wine or good coffee. If the mood is right down the line, I am big into massage...not officially licensed, but I am very good. Touch is uber important, both giving and receiving.
