I can officially call myself "marathoner" now as I just completed my first (of what I hope to be many) marathons in May. I am looking for someone who shares similar interests and who takes an avid interest in staying active for many reasons including good health. Relationships; family, friendly, or intimate are extremely important to me and the maintenance of such are a priority in my life. I enjoy experiencing all that I can out of life. The best, and my favorite, way to do that is through travel. At this point in my life I am looking for new and exciting ways to improve my life and continuously learn about interesting things.

Chemistry is must but at the core of any relationship is open, honest, continuous communication. I am relatively "baggage free" with little drama in my life. I am a confident woman who enjoys strong, thoughtful, caring men that can respect someone who means what they say and says what they mean and are confident in doing the same. My friends would say I'm witty and funny and I have the ability to laugh at myself. I enjoy various activities such as live music, theater, traveling, movies, hanging with my friends as well as many other things. I would very much like to find someone who embodies these qualities and that is ready and willing to invest in getting to know me and spend quality time together enjoying getting to know each other and find out where the journey leads.

10-22-09: Just curious if anyone ever actually meets from this site and goes on a date? It seems like most people just wants to chat occasionally via e-mail. Although I have met 1 or 2 people it seems like not that many people are actually interested in actually finding that someone they constantly refer to in their profile. Help me understand this please.
