So...let`s see...a few things about me...

I'd like to think I have a good sense of humour, although maybe somewhat off the wall at times. :) I actually love what I do as it tends to challenge me almost every day. I love to sing and play music. Mostly classic rock or blues, but I also like to dabble in newer music. I like to see live bands and comedies when possible, although it seems like forever since I did either of those things. I would love to share a good walk with the right person, just talking about everything or nothing at all.

I guess you could say I'm one of those incurable romantics. I love to show up with cards or flowers, etc. whenever possible. I also thrive on some form of physical contact, even if it's just holding hands.

I love dogs, and pretty much all animals in general.

If we ever meet be prepared for someone very shy, so it may take a few minutes for the conversation to get moving.

Not sure if you'll understand this or not...but...I'm looking for someone who'll make me feel like singing again. Not necessarily a committed, long term relationship, at least not right away. Hopefully something that will blossom into a good friendship, then who knows after that. Oh...and preferably a non or occasional smoker...not the pack-a-day type.

On another note...

Oct 31/09: Well...I'm heading overseas in 3 days for another 2 month stint in Afghanistan. If you still feel like sending a note that's fine as I will still be able to make some form of contact while I'm away. Who knows. The "safety" of being able to talk or chat for a while, just to get to know each other, may end up being an advantage.

A first date would have to be something that wouldn't really be a date at all, but a casual meeting where we could just sit down and get to know each other a bit. That could either be for a nice hot coffee or tea, or meeting for a glass of wine or beer. I think it would depend a lot on the "vibe" from the other person.
