I am a funloving and creative woman who loves to laugh, make beautiful music, is romantic and funny. I play the guitar, sing and play the flute - although, not all at the same time. I can often be found singing to the canned music at the local grocery store. I am independent - I can check my own oil and fluids, and I CHOOSE to drive a standard :), but I also won't ever dis you for opening the door for me! You can take me to a rock concert (I'm a 70's flower child at heart), or am just as comfortable having a romantic dinner for two with folk music playing in the background. With that said, I also own a pair of cowgirl boots and a cowgirl hat, so a rodeo wouldn't be out of the question either (I AM born and bred Alberta stock ;) Although I was born in Alberta, my ethnicity is Scottish (my Grandpa was a Scot), English (my other Grandpa was a British subject) and Dutch.

I am a great conversationalist, intelligent, caring and compassionate. I have been told I am a "classy" woman. Although I am for the most part upbeat and positive, I am also someone who has had my share of sorrows. I have tried to use those times to help me to grow and mature into a better person. I love who I have become in my middle age and am not looking for anyone to "complete me"... I am already complete, but I also recognize that I am still a "work in progress". There are no perfect people. I don't expect that from myself and I don't expect it of you either. I am not, however, into head games and won't play them. I may make first contact, but I won't push myself on you. Call me old fashinoned, but I still believe it is largely up to you men to show some initiative.... if you give me try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you are, so be it... a fishing we will go ;)

I'd love to meet you for a cup of java at Second Cup. There's a very quaint Second Cup in Sherwood Park or whatever works for both of us... have Jeep, will travel!
