I work downtown Houston but live just South of College Station. I spend the week in Houston and go home on the weekends.

My son and I raise Shetland ponys and miniature horses. We have some big horses for riding also. He trains and shows the horses in our show string while also training horses for other mini & Shetland owners. We hope to have a full training facility someday. BTW, I'm definitely NOT looking for a mom for my son. He has a mom and we are all friends...and no baggage. He is an adult and has his own life with his own girlfriend and it is very convenient to have someone to show our horses and take care of things around the place. He's turning into a very good business manager and partner which allows me much more time for other interest (hint).

I have been divorced 5+ years now and while I don't plan to rush into anything, I would like to start a relationship with someone interesting and see where it goes. I'm not wanting to change anyone or rescue anybody but would like to find that common ground and interest. Beginning as friends is usually a good place to start.

I don't play games and I don't lie. Sometimes the truth hurts but it's better in the long run. I'm fairly laid back and don't take life too seriously. In other words, I don't sweat the small stuff or worry about what I can't control but I know when the time comes to stand up for my beliefs.

I'm an honest man, one of integrity and believe in doing what's right and honorable. I enjoy movies, flea markets, country music & dancing, junk shops, & horse shows when I can go. Also, short distance weekend trips to do some exploring and/or relaxing. If you're looking for someone off the cover of GQ or somneone like Slick Willie, save us both some time and pass me by. I'm me, true to my word, believe in standing by my friends and family, conservative, and happy & proud of the person I am.

I've made mistakes and tried to make things right. I willingly paid all my child support...every penny and more!!! Lastly, I love all my horses, dogs and cats and sometimes prefer their company over the company of some humans. Sunrise is my favorite part of the day...a new beginning!!! And that is what I'm looking for in a lady, partner, lover & friend...a new beginning!

Treat it like an adventure...

Not sure...it would depend on what we mutually agree upon and go from there...
