Hello,

My friend told me about this site, so I figured I'd join and see what it's about. I'm here to meet people and make new friends. I'd be open to the idea of it developing into something more, but I like to be friends first. I appreciate honesty in people, I really value trust, and I despise ignorance.
I'm very focused on my career, and although I live in Halifax, I do have to travel quite often for my job. Umm, things that make me unique....I guess I can be quite patient sometimes, and I can quickly shift into a diplomatic mode when the situation arises. I can be serious and I can be casual, depending on the situation, as well..

As for my hobbies, I like to spend time outdoors, doing outdoorsy stuff (i.e. camping, swimming, cycling, jogging, hiking, etc). I like to read...mostly fiction. I'm a big movie buff and I like videogames, too.

A 1st date should be all about getting to know someone, so an activity that would allow that is cool. Hiking in the woods is great for that.
