I love to perform music and golf. I also scrapbook which is the priciest hobby I have right now. I generally just love to stay active, try new things, and go out with people. I love to cook for other people and am turning into a karaoke fan :)

I'm a music teacher and I love kids. My career goal is to get my PhD in music education and teach at the college level. My personal goal is to be happy with my life and show others how they can be a positive influence even in a stranger's life. I'm very dedicated to the people and things I love, and in a way, makes me a hopeless romantic sometimes. I love to laugh and be silly, of course I'm usually like that on a normal day, and if you really want to see that in action, take me to Disneyland :)

I'm a bit quirky and sarcastic so hopefully you can keep up with my pace. Since I'm a musician/teacher I have a WIDE range of musical interests. My particular favorites are swing/big band and rock.I love old movies,not things from the 80s. I mean classics from the 30s, 40s...all that good stuff before computer animation. In fact my fave line is from Some Like It Hot:
"Which of these instruments do you play?"
"Bass fiddle!"
"Oh!! Do you use a bow, or do you just pluck it?"
"Sometimes I slap it!"
I've been on a number of dates this past year and somehow found they were all pretty much jerks--so I'm hoping to find a decent man on here, even if it just becomes a friendship. I'd like more, but I accept what happens and you can't push things sometimes. Just have to let things take their course and find out in time.

I've done the dinner dates, the movie dates, and the dinner plus movie date. They always feel awkward. I am perfectly satisfied with first dates at a mini golf course, or over a cup of coffee, or in a bookstore, or playing pool. Something casual where you can be yourself and not worry about what you order and how much you eat in front of someone,...it's just silly.
