I'm a professor whose teaching and research is focused on the environment. It's a great career. I also like gardening, skiing, bicycling, listening to a wide range of music (Rachmaninov to Dire Straights), reading (history, mysteries), and cooking. I am usually outgoing and somewhat adventurous (went to Antarctica on a cargo plane but would never bungee jump), and would like to meet a man who has integrity and intelligence for friendship that could lead to a long-term relationship. If you are also playful and athletic, wonderful.

What we would do on a first date doesn't matter that much as long as there is the opportunity to get to know one another; so a movie would not be my choice but walking in an arboretum could be.
