I'm a 26 year old English teacher who one day hopes to be a college professor. I'm a sports nut. I love the Boston Red Sox (not like Jimmy Fallon's abomination in Fever Pitch...) and I watch a lot of Villanova basketball too. I play golf and softball, because my baseball career has passed me by. I also run at least 3 times a week as it's a great stress reliever and also because I coach cross country.

I'll listen to any kind of music, but I really enjoy 90's and early 00's rock (scremo bothers me), classic rock, and rap. I like to read books, especially classic American Literature. My favorite author is F. Scott Fitzgerald. I also enjoy sitting and watching a good movie or show (like Entourage or 24) and, you know, just chilling/nerding out on something.

On the other hand, I really enjoy going out and heading to the bar, a game, trying something new, or traveling somewhere with my friends. I like being social and being around people more often than not but not every single day. My family is important to me. I was raised in a strong family, so maintaining that is important to me. However, I am an independent person and do my own thing.

Of course, it depends on the girl, but I find that dinner and drinks or going to a game is a pretty good way to start things off. Anywhere that is low pressure and relaxed is normally a winner for a first date.
