I am searching for an adventurous man of good heart and strong character that understands the tender balance of best friend and lover. Want an enjoyable companion that knows how to enjoy the ride, to whatever extent develops. Long term would be nice if it goes that direction. Honesty and good communication in ALL phases of life are most important to any friendship. If we are dependable, trustworthy, considerate... those are traits that will strenghten a relationship naturally. Other differences can be worked around. If we were all the same life would be quite boring! I prefer non-smokers, but wouldn't turn away a good man. I have a real problem with fake personalities, inflated egos, and blow hards. Such a waste of time, mine and yours both.

Little things are very important in this life, but sadly are overlooked by most people. Hope to meet a man who gets that. A light touch or across the room glance goes a long way if it's from the heart. Sometimes sharing a good laugh can be the best part of a day. Sometimes just cuddling to watch a slow sunset with your favorite drink. A simple day trip to a new place can be enjoyable. My background in tourism makes me a good traveling companion.

I look/act younger, most guess me about 47-48. I am a professional person who enjoys a wide variety of activities from a full range of sporting events to formal social affairs to camping to home dinner parties; and I hope to meet a man who shares this same versatility. Routine is boring and I don't believe life is meant to be boring. A romantic dinner out with fine wine is always welcome. A night of dancing or live music once in a while would be great with a partner who enjoys it. I am also an excellent cook and would like to have a man around who appreciates it, and would enjoy entertaining friends together. Definitely prefer a man who is handy around the house.
