After a long, dry spell, I'm ready to get back into the dating world! :) I enjoy a dichotomy of things-hanging out with friends, and needing and enjoying my alone time, too; reading a good book, and watching a dumb TV show; going to most kinds of bars/clubs, and having friends over to my house; being independent, and being able to talk to someone on the phone if need be; weeding my flower garden, but never getting to that one in the back yard! I love running around Kansas City and watching all the growth that is happening; really enjoying the rebirth of downtown.
I listen to several kinds of music, but mostly enjoy alternative. 96.5 the Buzz is my station of choice. Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Green Day, The Offspring are all awesome bands!! About the only kind of music I won't listen to is country. Been there, done that......in 1983!! lol

My idea of a great first date would be to head down to the City Market or the Crossroads for an outdoor concert of an alternative band. It could be really hot so we'd need to drink alot of cold beverages, or chilly so we'd have to cuddle up to keep warm! If it's First Fridays, we would walk around the art galleries, looking at the pieces, and also people watching! We would go to Grinders for an awesome Philly Steak sandwich and fries. After everything dies down, we would find an outdoor coffee shop to sit and talk away the rest of the evening, getting to know one another better. Wow, this sounds like fun!! LOL
