I am a down-to-earth, practical professional, but also have a soft, dreamer side. I love to learn new things and try just about anything that's not too dangerous (or illegal!) I don't like to be around people who need drugs or booze to get through the day or enjoy life. I've had my share of pain, but am optimistic and forward-looking. I'm very trustworthy and honest and appreciate others with the same outlook. I love to travel, go to art and music events, walk on the beach, try new cuisines, visit with friends and family, be creative and explore new ideas. I like my work and keeping fit but also taking time to just relax and enjoy things like a beautiful sunset or a quiet interlude in the day. Sometimes you have to have a schedule, but I also like to be spontaneous and not have everything planned out in advance, which is more interesting. The same goes for your life in general, which you can make plans for, but often something can happen to take you in another direction. I know this has been my experience and you need to develop resilience and just "go with the flow" sometimes! I also believe you can't really change another person, but perhaps you can influence them or even inspire them to change themselves. I try to be helpful and encouraging to others, very supportive and caring. As far as my goals, I haven't really written them down and perhaps I should, but I think I'd hope that I use my time well, not wasting it. It's too easy to squander time and do things that in the end aren't very fulfilling, so I think it's crucial to examine how you are really spending your time and with whom. And although it's nice to have a good income and material possessions, it's relationships and what you do with your time that really matter! Nobody gets to the end of their life and says they wished they'd spent more time at the office. So for me, finding a loving relationship is very important. As to my taste in music, I generally like jazz, classical and rock.
