I'm creative, intelligent, and want someone I can have meaningful conversations with - both before and after 'the fun'. I can talk about virtually any subject and enjoy it because I love to learn new things. I strive to be an attentive listener, but can ramble as well as the next person sometimes... this one time, at band camp...

I want the whole package of course - a decent, honest, caring person to share the adventures with. Who doesn't? I'm me, I like me a lot, and I'm ready to share my life with a special lady. I have nothing to hide - neither should you. There's the truth, and then there's everything else, so please don't knock if you live in 'everything else' land.

I've never felt fully comfortable being on here, but it is interesting and it's better in some ways than the usual methods of meeting people. Who wants to have to say 'we met in a bar'? (I know someone who met his wife on here, so apparently it works.)

I live in a small town and love it. 40 years in the City was enough. Noise pollution, air pollution, eeediot drivers... apart from a lifetime of friends I don't know why I stayed there for so long. There are advantages, but if you like to breath FRESH AIR, like calm and like being surrounded by (mostly) decent people - you can't beat it. A goal of mine is to live on an acreage someday.

I'm allergic to most makes and models of dogs and cats, so if you're a 'cat lady', sorry - even if I was to find you amazing... it's just no fun sneezing all the time.

Sneezing... I am a smoker, but barely - as I'm about to quit. The romance is over. If you're about to be a non-smoker as well and want to add a 'quitting buddy' to your support system, send me a note and we'll encourage each other. The patch worked very well for me before and it WILL work again.

Finally - I'm a one woman man, so once there's an understanding that we're 'exclusive' this profile goes bye bye. Like some people on here (but not all apparently) I actually do want it to go bye bye. I'm not in a big hurry, just available at the moment.
