I've always been the hopeless, old-fashioned, affectionate romantic, aiming to always put a smile on someone's face! I'm definately a people-person, & enjoy talking to most everyone!

I have a home in suburban St. Clair Shores, am divorced, have 2 kids(daughter/24, son/21)both living away from home. I'm a Senior Landscape Sales Consultant in Macomb County. I was trained to be a landscape architect years ago, but now help people locally with their landscape challenges. I am my happiest when I'm helping others, & seeing them pleased! I take pride in working hard and achieving my goals, at work, & at life. I also always try to have fun with whatever I'm doing at the time, whether it be working or shopping, or out with you. If you find fun in anything you do, you'll enjoy doing it, so its never boring, or work.

I have a sense of humor much like my 3 favorite comedy performers: Groucho Marx, Steve Allen, & Robin Williams, known as "quipsters". In other words, my sense of humor is spontaneous too! As my screenname implies, I'm a romantic- passionate & compassionate, very sensual & playful--preferring to have fun & interact, where we learn about each other, yet be serious when the time arises. I can also be a driven person, if I see something or someone I want--I go after it(must be because I'm in sales). I'd like someone to be able to communicate on an intimate level as well as a family level. Someone who understands & NEVER prejudges people. It takes time to understand someone more fully. Patience is very important. Don't always jump to conclusions about someone so quickly--wait to understand them! Stop looking for an ulterior motive; try trusting! Spontaneity is very much preferred!

I'm very artsy, enjoy art fairs, antique shows, moving sales, 2nd-hand stores, or garage sales. Other than ocassional dust(lol), I collect Oriental art(feng shui), music, crystal, & other antiques. I enjoy the Internet, sometimes just for people-watching. Also movies, but prefer watching DVDs together at home, where we can interact & talk together without bothering others.

Also, I have a passion for dancing to a live band. Enjoying music/dancing is very important! It shows a sensitivity in life much like kissing does. I prefer light, mellow jazz, classic rock, & oldies--music that makes sense. In jazz Chris Botti, Diana Krall, & most any smooth jazz/legendary jazz/latin jazz performer(ie: Stan Getz, Paul Desmond, Antonio Carlos Jobim,& Dave Brubeck). Most ANY oldie will do, especially Del Shannon, as I most likely know the words, singer, year, etc. Also, classic rockers Bob Seger, Queen, Eric Clapton, & of course--Pink Floyd. Love performers like Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, & Josh Groban, as well as Tony Bennett, the Nat King Coles, & Sinatras of past years; not much country, a little classical, never rap or metal, but still pretty eclectic taste.

I enjoy local sports teams, especially the Red Wings (I’m an original “WingNut”!), the Tigers, some Pistons, & waiting for the Lions to catch-up! The Wings are a must when on TV, but you would take priority if you wanted to do something special together. I enjoy going out to dinner, gardening, the DIA, photography, & landscaping/gardening in the yard.

I pride myself on being normal, grounded, & live by common sense, & rationality. I am most respectful, work hard, & then prefer to play harder afterwards. I like to do things together, & be spontaneous. I hope to find you genuine, playful, affectionate, & feminine as well. I'm a touchy-feely kind of guy, hoping you are as well! Kissing is extremely important--in communication building! Playing & interacting, both physically & mentally, helps build a good relationship, as do those serious times, where respect is always important! You need to posses the ability to understand & talk things out. I prefer discussion and compromise over confrontation anytime!

Weekend, or overnight getaways are fun, & there is always Frankenmuth! I would again enjoy seeing San Francisco, plus Greece or Japan for the 1st time, just alone! Coming along with me?????

Spontaneous conversation together in a nice, quiet/intimate atmosphere, like a coffeehouse for starters! Even just listening to music together, or at sunset near the water, where we'd develop a real reason to continue the day or evening together! Just enjoying the moment and let that moment shape the next moment is what counts..... "Where" isn't as important as "Who", you & I together--anywhere"! There's nothing like just letting chemistry take over, & see what happens!
