About Me
I LOVE humor and laughing! Nothing better than that to pleasure the heart and soul!
I claim to cook well; I learned everything I know about cooking when I lived in Japan for 11 years. I'll cook you something delicious whenever you're in the mood. You just sit and relax while I do the work. (BTW, I also cook "regular" food like BBQ and stuff, but my egg rolls or Mongolian BBQ will knock your socks off!).
In my travels, I've pretty much seen the world: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Hawaii, Guam, Alaska, England, Scotland, Germany, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, Monterey, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Dallas, and yes, even Omaha Nebraska in the winter. My fave was San Antonio; what a city! (I'm not sayin' I go to any of those places now; that was my Air Force career...but I have stories to tell...)
I enjoy reading, and writing is one of my passions. I'm a published author. I also walk, talk, bike, hike, ride, hide, and I can't think of any other things that rhyme right now (I'm writing this at 4:30 in the morning). Oh, I want to go skydiving too. Or ballooning. In the Air Force I spent about 5,000 hours inside a closed airplane. Now I want to experience the fresh air!
On a well-known "Work at Home Moms" website, I used to be a chat host/message board monitor/volunteer for about 8 years, giving advice on how to start and run all kinds of home businesses, but I just recently got away from that. (Google me and you'll find my e-book and lots of stuff.) Oh, did I mention I teach night school (computers) in my spare time and do computer house calls on the side? (Not trying to drum up business...just want you to know I'm a geek! LOL, no I'm not.) Besides that, I just do everything in my "Interests" block; no need to repeat it here! Except kayaking...my fave! Whew...I need a break and a nice cup of coffee or something. Want some? I do.
Enough about me. What about you? I'd like to meet women who are kind and friendly, a little bit outgoing (although I'm shy), and who like to spend an evening or a weekend just doing whatever we feel like doing. Life is wide open for me.
First Date
Meeting at a restaurant or coffee shop or the beach or a park so we can sit and talk or walk and talk and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Or sit and watch thunderstorms...I think they're exciting to watch on the balcony with a cup of coffee or lemonade or whatever. Some of my best first dates have been dinner at a restaurant. I know a beautiful walking trail in Juno with plenty of ducks. They quack me up.
WingMan II has 1 roses that can be sent.
