I spent the first 25 years of my life on the beach in Santa Monica body surfing, hanging out with all the other great pretenders I went to school with and working as I beach life guard. Now I’m back at the beach in Long Beach hanging out with my dog who does most of the body surfing. In between I raised a family, ran my own dental practice, was widowed after 30 years, owned my own real estate brokerage, owned a retail business specializing in natural pet food, did a bit more dentistry and was tangled up with a few more women. For the past three years my main companion has been my dog, Dolly, a Portuguese Water Dog. While she’s loyal and affectionate I miss the companionship of a woman.
I'm retired and spend a lot of time at the beach with my dog. I like driving trips and I'm thinking of throwing my camping gear in my trunk and exploring New Mexico. I know who I am, am content, and self sufficient, emotionally avilable, sensitive and practical.
Looking to meet someone who: is intelligent, ht/wt proportionate, reads, will accept my dog as part of the package, independent but enjoys companionship, and is willing to work out a relationship that inhances both our lives, must enjoy music of all kinds. I'm not interested in wine tasting, bar hopping, anybody who thought Bush knew what he was doing.

I like having coffee for a first date, or if you have a dog we could meet at the dog beach, I've had dinner dates with women I've never met and that can be agony for both parties.
