I'm doing this as a result of our singles' group discussion this morning at church. I don't have the time and energy to waste, while missing God's perfect plan and timing. My daughters have exemplified that 'true love waits'. I am blessed beyond measure by their leadings.
Lately, I've been doing a backwards order sprint triathlon every Saturday. My idea of rest and relaxation is a good book. I'm reading the Bible through for the 1st time in my life before the sun rises. I love mowing the yard, and sculpturing wayward vines. We have a 5 mo old yellow lab that demands a lot of attention. My oldest, a son is 26 and lives in Phoenix, Az w/his wife. My eldest daughter is soon to be married, making me a grandmother of two instantly. The middle daughter is finishing her undergrad work in Veterinary medicine. My youngest girl, the last teen, just returned from camp requesting a purity ring. My life is full by God's grace alone. I've been teary-eyed for days to consider how precious the simple moments are. The ferns on our front porch have yielded nests of baby birds for the past 2 seasons. I'd rather stay at home, than be on the road, unless it's to the mts--closer to heaven!
