I am looking for a man who I can sit and talk to about various subjects, go places with, just spend time together, all to hopefully develop into a long-term relationship.

I love music, particularly the 80s rock/pop, but also love the newer dance music (great music to walk to, or go out mowing the lawn). I prefer to play my music while doing something else over watching television anytime.

I work during the day from Mon-Fri. After work I love to go out places, whether it be for a walk, outside to dig around in flower beds, or to just take it easy, depending on the weather. It is nice to get dressed up and go somewhere for dinner once in awhile, although cannot get out of work clothes fast enough once home, into a pair of sweat pants and t-shirt.

Intelligence and a creative mind is a must. Science has always been my personal favorite(particularly medical science), for there is always something to talk about. I love to learn and refuse to stop.

I am looking for a man who also holds a job he loves, which he finds challenging, but is what drives him to continue with his career of choice. I love my work, which involves working with medical reports, lab data, proof-reading, clarifying discrepancies etc. Medical terminology is almost a second language for me. MS Office, particularly MS Word is probably my version of a computer game, as I love building forms, tables, resumes, reports, etc both at work and outside of work.

I am past the party stage, and if you like to get drunk, don't bother answering me, for nobody should consider it fun to be drunk. I prefer much "tamer" parties, where there is social drinking, but all present are still "functional", and are just having fun. On these occasions I may consider one drink, which is enough to ensure a good sleep when I get home!!!!

A sense of humor is a must, as it tends to be one of the best methods to relieve stress. I have a great sense of humor, love to laugh, and can handle some minor torment, just be prepared for the same.

This is the age where we hopefully learned from our mistakes, now call it wisdom to avoid doing it again. We have gone from black/white television with 2 channels to where a good picture can indeed be as simple as sticking your head out the car window and smiling at the sky for a satellite picture. I have a cell phone but honestly I find it rather annoying at times, and prefer to just leave it home.

I prefer to hear from you first....call it "old fashioned" but I have to still try to save some of those "good old days".

I hate this method of meeting a man, but I have to accept it. I base the email/chat as a preliminary stage...if you are online daily yet only make contact with me every few days, then I have to interpret it as a lack of interest. An email only takes a minute to send, and shows that there is possibly genuine interest.

I WANT to grow old with a man to love, I do not NEED one.

Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself.

Somewhere to sit and talk. Where we go is not as important as talking to each other is. We can decide where to go while talking if things seem to be worth pursuing.
