How does one explain themselves or their aspirations in just a few paragraphs when so much of one's life is the ever changing and evolving world of having someone special be a part of it. You try to be a good person. Live your life with honesty and respect for others. Hope you find that someone special and dedicate yourself to being a real partner, friend, and lover. One can list their likes and dislikes and yet, maybe by doing so you chase away that one person who might have otherwise been a perfect match. No two people will have everything in common. But isn't the joy of life finding what those things are and sharing them together, while understanding those things that make each other unique and special. we are a combination of our past experiences and those experiences yet to happen. I would like to think that I have learned from the past and still look forward to learning new things in the future. I am looking for that final lasting love that comes from a place of comfort and excitement. The person that you never have to question, that will always have your back and stand together in any storm . The person that you not only feel a connection with and feel that love can flourish, but that love can grow and mature like a fine wine or a well tended garden. I think about friends I know that no one would put together and yet they have great love between them, and others who should be perfect and yet are not, and I think it is such a smame that so many are unwilling to take a chance. so instead of listing likes and dislikes like so many do, I would rather meet someone with an open mind, a willing attitude, and a warm heart. The picture I have is with my son. Strange how when one looks for pictures it seems I must have always been the one taking them !

I guess this profile goes against all the reccomendations.....talk about your hobbies, your goals, what is unique about yourself, your taste in music. But then wouldn't that take all the fun out of getting to know someone ?

A casual drink or a cup of coffee. A warm summer evening in an outdoor setting, or a a casul lunch. Anyplace that is comfortable for two people to get to know one another. Some great conversation, a few laughs, the rest will take care of itself.
