Hi! I am kind of a homebody unless I have someone to go places with. I am the shy, quiet type who generally doesn't put themselves out front, but I love to go out dancing. (Not saying I dance well, just that I enjoy it! LOL) I am a selective bibliophile, I love alternate history/world fantasy, and the Stephanie Plum books are just great! I'm just looking to see what else is out there. As much as I love my daughter, I would like to meet other adults, people I can talk to in full sentances. I am a highly independant person, not looking for a "father" for my daughter, nor for someone to "take care of me." I can and do manage on my own.

This whole online thing is kind of new for me, but I'm willing to take a chance and see what happens. I'm really only looking for friends, other single parents a plus, especially if the child(ren) are near in age to my daughter, who's 2 1/2.
