What are we all looking for out there but companionship. None of us ever intends on spending the rest of our lives alone. At the point that we are in our lives now, we have all had broken hearts. It is called "baggage" and it makes us the people we are today. I, like the rest of you, HAVE had my heart broken. Broken more than once. But I wouldn't give up a moment of my past, not one single moment of it, if it were to change the person I am today. Hopefully we have grown enough to know that we cannot find each other if we hide behind that baggage and are to afraid to try. That person may not be what you expected or what society deems the "perfect" mate as there really is no such thing. They may not fit the mold, ethnic origin , body shape, eye colour,hair,,,ect...you will never know what attracts you to a person until THAT person walks before you... But what I do know, is that HIS laughter will make every cell in MY body tingle. Our conversations may go from mundane,inane and asinine, to intellectually, mentally and physically stimulating. HE will know that when I dress up that it is for HIM and HIM alone and when I am in jeans and leather, that it is also for HIM. When WE dance together, people will look. They will stare. They won't be able to help themselves because the light emanating from our souls will draw them to us.HE will know that MY mind, MY body and MY soul are HIS. Together, WE will take long drives, drives with no destination and no conclusion. Stopping anywhere and everywhere, just holding hands. WE won't need to talk, what is understood doesn't need to be discussed. What that person will also be able do to ME is, with one discrete look from the other side of the room, HE will have the ability to make MY knees buckle and MY heart melt,to make my desire for him palpable, because deep inside Me, I know that it is US that will be going home together and not them...
