Ok then. so here's me, 38, single, unattached, available, romantically challenged, still looking, (how many more ways can I find to say that I'm on my own and all alone, hmmmmmmm), anyway, I haven't yet given up all hope of finding the right person to begin the rest of life with, which is why i'm here.

And what have we here? You too, here at the same online dating site, looking for that honest and genuine Mr Right, someone to love and with any luck, that someone will be the one who shows you just as much love and respect, if not more, in return.

I pretty much take things as they come, not really one for making plans because they can change at any given moment - one of the things you find out when you spend some time travelling.

I'm far from perfect and have my faults but i'm generally good natured, honest, trustworthy, loyal, friendly, easy going, down to earth, have a great sense of humour, (politically incorrect), financially stable, reasonably intelligent and love to showcase my talents when it comes to cooking up a feed! (athough,cooking for more than one is a much better way of proving this claim).

I'm a child of the 70's, raised by a single working mother, taught to respect others and I pretty much live by moral standards and values taught to me as a youngster that seem to have gone by the wayside over the years.

Quite happy kicking back in a pair of jeans or trackies but certainly don't mind wearing a shirt, tie and trousers when required ... actually, I can scrub up pretty good.

I don't like Pepsi - i'm a Coca Cola guy, I like my coffe strong, my cheese a vintage tasty, my whiskey Irish, my beer full strength and in my opinion, wine is only good for cooking with!

I might look like one of those rough types that your mother told you to stay away from or, as many other people point out, I look like that guy from ZZ TOP, (except my beard isn't anywhere near as long as his), and i'm sure that "fugly" has been used more times than i'd care to know about but hey, I'm using this site in the hope of finding love, happiness and all the trimmings that go with it.

I love music, anything other than that trance and hiphop stuff getting around .... each to their own though I suppose.

I've played in a few bands over the years but these days I prefer the acoustic stuff. Hoping to have a CD recorded this year with my own songs and one never knows, another band might not be out of the question at some point.

As far as my taste in music goes, there's plenty of it I like and plenty of it I loathe but artists such as AC/DC, Foo Fighters, ZZ Top (of course), GnR, JBT, Cold Chisel, Pete Murray, The Beatles, Powderfinger, Missy Higgins and Ben Harper, (just to name a few), are who I find appealing.

I hate Big Brother and every other reallity TV show, unless it's sport, yeah yeah, typical male, haha.

When it comes to movies and TV, I prefer a good comedy, something with a bit of action or something with a good plot.

I'd like to do more travel somewhere down the track, the top end of Australia and New Zealand are a couple of places i'd like to see.

If you're looking for a long term relationship with a guy that has a good heart, doesn't play games and would like to share this journey of life with someone rather than go it alone, then hopefully there's something in this little profile i've put together that you find appealing.
