I never thought that I'd be doing the online dating thing, but hey here I am giving it a try!!! Whether or not people fully read what everyone else wrote I don't know...but here I go anyway...I generally have never been into the whole bar or club hopping scene so I guess that's why I am here. I am very upfront and honest (no sugar coating but always with tact). I am very friend and family oriented and simply love being around those important to me. I have gone through my fair share of 'magicians' aka 'men that are really good at disappearing' and I just want to find someone that will stick around...

*I am not Native Hawaiian, tho I do get asked that a lot
*I am not Native American, but I don't get asked that as much as the former
*I don't play games and will not tolerate a man that does
*I laugh and smile a lot...be forewarned my laugh is loud but very contagious
*My all-time fave movie is Terminator 2
*I will only eat chunky peanut butter
*balloons popping scare me
*I do not tolerate rudeness
*I am NOT the 'typical' North Shore woman
*I run 3-4/wk...I don't necessarily like it but I do it
*I love Girls' Nights and like when guys have their Boys' Nights
*I generally will always have two things with me -- lip balm and cinnamon/minty gum
*I am a 'thick' and 'curvy' girl
*My fave color is orange
*When I was little I wanted to be an orthopedic/trauma surgeon...who dreams of that
*I learned to swim when I was 3
*I love pizza...simply love it
*When I drink it's usually beer...I like Smithwick's or Heineken
*My sense of humor is off the wall and sometimes raunchy
*My friends say I am a big movie buff and hate playing Scene It with me
*When Karate Kid came out I was in love with Ralph Macchio
*I am a big kid at heart and love kids
*I love to cook
*I surprised a friend of mine for his birthday by cooking for the whole firehouse...they were in a food coma the rest of the evening
*I can 'chillax' as well as go out
*I lived in Las Vegas for 1 yr.
*My best friend has been such for over 25 yrs.
*I like to watch football, baseball, and hockey
*Growing up I played volleyball , softball, and basketball
*I am a die hard Cubs and Bears fan
*I can't really throw a frisbee
*I was voted in high school 'Most likely to become a DJ'
*My freshman year in college I fell off a cafeteria table b/c I was table dancing
*I am a dog person vs. a cat person

What am I looking for? Hmmmmm...a sense of humor and good heart are mandatory. He must also be great with kids (I am divorced with 2 kids) and like being around friends and family. I value honesty, compassion, intelligence, charm, and chivalry. If you're willing to stick around then maybe we'll have something lasting!
