I recently retired and am planning to do more traveling. Not long ago I sold my house in MA and went to Costa Rica for 3 weeks and then to my place in the Florida Keys for a month. I came to Denver early this year to arrange my condo here. I plan to be in CO or FL as the weather or mood dictates. My profile changes to indicate home located in Marathon, FL or Aurora, CO, depending on where I am at the time. I need to lose 15 pounds from the waist line and am working on that. Looking for someone with similar interests and the freedom to enjoy them.

I am not going to use much space here to describe myself since that would represent a very biased opinion. I will say, I think I am nice person, easy to get to know, outgoing, like to travel and not difficult to live with. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Feb 09 Update-Transition to CO is complete. I recently spent 2 weeks in Mexico and the weather temps me to go back. I much prefer warmer weather so I have made arrangements to go back down to the Florida Keys for a few weeks.

June 09 update-Discovered a very interesting website to exchange time in vacation properties. Have just completed trading a month in my Florida condo with someone in the Canary Islands and also a month trade in Spain. Looks like a very nice two month vacation.

September 09 update-Well the trip has been fantastic. Stayed in a condo in Puerto de Mogan on Gran Canaria, an Island in the Canary group. Puerto de Mogan has an old section right on the Marina, it is known as the Venice of Gran Canaria and that is where I stayed. Can google and find it. Water/Boats was within 30 feet of front door and within 100 yards of my front door (along the water front) was at least 8 cafe/restaurants from a variety of cuisines, Irish, Italian, German, French, Canarian, etc. From there I came to Rota and have been to visit Bedegas (wineries), Portugal (about 2 hours), Gibraltar (about 2 hours) and Tangier, Morrocco in Africa. Fast Ferry from Tarifa, Spain takes about 35 minutes to get to Tangier. From there vist the city and the Kasbah of course. Headed home next week.

Nov 09-Ok changing place of living again, for awhile. Going to Florida Keys to stay through the end of the year. Much warmer there than in Colorado. OK, am back in "Paradise", Florida Keys. Been here about a month and temp has been in mid 80's every day, with light breeze. Not sure it gets any better.
