I am a really girlie-kinda-girl!!! (I wear skirts, frilly blouses, high heels. I get weekly manicures, facials and hair blowouts from the spa!) BUTTTTTTTT, I like sports! I teach so I have summer off to play. I own a set of golf clubs and have quite a swing (no real long game as of late, but I am improving). I enjoy other kinds of games like darts at the pub, Wii bowling, and I enjoy just going to the beaches and taking in the scene while on a long walk. I like going to games, especially football games and enjoy most sports as a spectator. I was actually a bigger LeBron fan than Kobe fan, but I found all the games interesting and fun to watch, particularly when they had less predictable endings. I am looking forward to football season, and I love the Buckeyes (two time alumae), so if I say, "O-H-" you best learn the response, " . . ."! I go to the Rose Bowl every year and try to get to The Shoe for at least one home game per year-this fall, USC-so bring it on trojans, and fight on or whatever!!! I also usually go the the bowl wherever OSU is sent. So you can tell, if you are not a sports-oriented kinda guy, you probably should have been a girl; hence, I can save us both time and energy - DELETE Me Now!

I do enjoy other activities aside from sports. I like all kinds of music, including oldies 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, rock, contemporary, blues, smooth jazz, etc., etc. As a German growing up in rural Ohio, I know some polka-songs, including the words to most of the versus to "Roll Out the Barrel" and "In Heaven There is No Beer." Too bad I can't sing-I like kareoke, but I am pretty much Milli-Vanilli at the mic. I enjoy concerts including Jimmy Buffet, the Hollywood Bowl, and like to hear local bands too. I have a few favorites and although I am not a groupy-I have put in my turn as a roadie, band-aide, and devoted fan! I do not own a CD player nor do I own an iPod, but I like to listen to my iTunes and the radio in the car is preset to quite a variety; imperative to my morning commute (26.5 mi., and yes, I am complaining . . .).

I like meeting new and interesting people. I consider my social demeanor quite convivial. I enjoy most any activity that is social; I am outgoing and very much appreciate an entertaining venue; a music concert on the pier, fundraisers, outdoor activities. I drink in social settings, but I do not go overboard with the bottle. (I do not smoke and I have never done drugs.) If you can't appreciate a cold beer at the hot tub at the end of the day, I am not sure that I am your girl; however, I love dressing up and going to dinner, sipping wine, sunset beaches with margaritas. See? I do have social adaptations for most any setting.
No pressure, but it would probably be better for me, if you could "roll the ball" at a social function (funerals excluded).

Last, I have three degrees and I am considering a fourth. Some guys are uncomfortable with that, so I thought I would just throw this fact out there. I teach second grade, and I am completely unassuming with education level; let's face it, some of the world's best human beings are NOT particularly formally schooled, so I don't mean to imply that I will only date doctors, lawyers, etc. Which reminds me, no stuffed-shirts please! If you can't 'chillax' in a friendly and fun-loving way, I probably am not your girl. . .

I am not spoiled, but I like being spoiled. Mostly, I spoil myself, so I don't need your money, nor do I need any of your power trips!!! (Also, I am neither brown-noser nor ego-feeder.) I am extremely patient with all children and in the case of this past school year - second graders-it's my job and your tax dollars. Don't mind listening when I get home, actually I am good at it; but would prefer some light-hearted and interesting conversation(s) with engaging dialogue(s) from both of us. I do need a good conversation and some quick-wit/sense of humor! Please, email me if you can make a girl laugh, know how to relax, and can have fun day-to-day-to-day! Look, we work hard, we play hard; so may as well have fun too! Right?

Meet for a drink, somewhere nice, outdoor patios are great. I don't mind the usual coffee house if that is where you are most comfortable. I guess what is best is a setting where the real you and me can be you and me. . . have a tough time buying into the whole 'chemistry' thing. . . we click or we don't. . . Enough said.
