Looking for that special someone who appreciates the important things in life like family, friends and good health and who doesn't get bent out of shape over something he has no control over. I am a loyal friend and sister, and people close to me know that they can always depend on me for non-judgmental advice, a sympathetic ear or just a good hug. I have two adult children 23 & 20 (whom I adore) who live with me. I work in marketing/fundraising and can schmooze with the best of them but don't get caught up with the b.s. I am well-regarded by my colleagues and seem to be the one who always organizes office get-togethers... the fun stuff is very important to me!

I a big reader - Dominick Dunne, James Patterson, Ken Follett, Pat Conroy. My music tastes vary - LOVE the blues, 70s stuff, Great Big Sea, Paul Carrack, and I always enjoy discovering new artists. I find that nothing compares to going to a (good)live show and I enjoy the odd comedy show - but never again from the front row!! .

I'm a huge Rick Mercer fan. Absolutely adored Six Feet Under. Looking forward to watching Weeds and True Blood on dvd. I prefer to watch the dvd's from the start of the series, over a week-end (or several). I regularly watch Law & Order, Jeopardy and Funniest Home Videos - I'm a sucker for the dog & baby clips. And speaking of dogs, I volunteer at a rescue organization.

I rollerblade and bike, and for my nature fix I take my dog for a walk in the woods.

My friends and family think I'm witty, clever and have a great sense of humour and I'm inclined to agree with them : )
