About Me
I'd like to start in saying I'm a very simple person. I enjoy cooking and playing games with my friends, video games and tabletops. I'm a bit of a gamer myself, but in the year 2009, who isn't a little addicted to technology? I'm a writer, well I was an avid writer when I was younger but I haven't been doing as much, I have a few poetry publications, nothing really to brag about.
I'm working on my four year degree in Paralegal studies before heading to Temple for Law. I'm going to be a lawyer, and I work hard to make that fact happen. Sadly, this eats up a good portion of my time and energy, and this is a long term project that may take some working around in a relationship. However, I know where I want to go; and if someone is willing to drive the journey with me, through thick and thin then I have no problem spoiling them after the fact. I am a firm believer that acts of kindness deserve just rewards.
I think of myself as a pillar type person. I am supportive and can't really turn my back to people who need help or are being dealt a bad hand in life. I'll admit it's gotten me into trouble sometimes, but sometimes it's worth it. I believe that if I can turn just one person in a bad spot's life around, that I lived a good life. It's just who I am.
I enjoy musics of all genres, and things like long walks at night time. I'm a night owl; I take pride in being out in the wee hours of the morning; especially in the woods when the stars are out. I absolutely LOVE being out in the wilderness; I hate bugs, sweating, etc. My ideal night is a cool autumn day with a full moon, with a lake and a nice breeze.
That's me, at least the best I can do writing an ad for an online site. I love to meet new people, and I love chatting on AIM. Don't be afraid to message me, I won't bite.
First Date
I like to do things somewhat spontaneously; I enjoy something like a mall meet up to break the ice, hit a pretzel stand and get a smoothie and browse stores.
It helps get to know each others interests early on, if it goes well I might do something I enjoy exotic food, there are tons of places that serve international cuisine in my town and I would prefer to hit a Thai/Portugese/Japanese restaurant. It is fun to see someone's first reaction to exotic food; If money becomes an issue, it might be nice to have a nice candlelight dinner in my dining room; and watch a movie or two afterwards, or go out for desert. If I'm lucky we'll watch a horror movie.
