I love being a woman. I am centered, open and comfortable in my skin. I have a beautiful 4 year old daughter who is my greatest joy.

I've spent a lot of time in the art, illustration, architecture and design world. I'm also a computer geek. (I have been to Comic-Con, a couple times.) I'm a fairly accomplished pianist, I shoot competative recurve archery and am learning how to belly dance.

I spend my free time reading, thinking, musing, writing, discussing and wondering. I am driven to seek experiences of subtle beauty- in nature, and the simple profound connection you can have with other humans. I take pleasure in small things that are sometimes easily missed. I also like to let loose, and run around under the full moon. When I was younger I was a bit of a gothy punk chick, but then I got a job ;(

I'm capable of doing life on my own, but I know its exponentially more rewarding to share it with someone else.

What I'm looking for...
hmm... Just be nice. genuine. Not a control freak or into one-upmanship. Smart, in a practical problem solving kind of way, not trivia.

You should have found your thing and love what you do. Ethical, affectionate and responsible.

You have a life and are not too into gaming, for instance. You listen, and not wait to talk. You approach life with interest and curiosity, not pessimism. You know the difference between arguing and discussing. You respect that I have a life, and you are a good friend and companion, not necessarily *fun* to be around, but stimulating and interesting. Open, spiritual and compassionate. Someone who understands I'm a package deal, and having a connection with me but not my daughter is not an option.

I like geeky, intellectual, artistic.

First date would be a no-pressure meet and greet, not even a date really. Just to see if we'd actually *want* to date. If there's chemistry, then we could set up a real first date. Ususally dinner and drinks is best, so we could spend some time talking and getting to know the basics about each other. After that, probably an activity we both enjoy, have some laughs and start creating some positive memories!
