My name is Ace and my greatest, paradoxical, insoluble dilemma in life is wondering why on "The Cosby Show", Bill Cosby's name is "Cliff Huxtable"???... I like to make witty remarks that can sometimes push the limits of decency. I developed most of my witty material in college during my upper division major courses. Ok, well maybe not, I sharpened my tongue on the streets, but I did graduate from Cal State University San Marcos in the spring of '08. I went to flight school for my VFR private pilot rating two weeks following graduation, finished ground school in eight weeks, and wasn't able to finish my hours or even get close to a check ride because of the freaking expensive price per hour. As for employment, I quit my college job in the automotive industry to join the Marine Corps' Officer Candidate School because work sucks. I'm finally near the end of completing my officer application package and I'm hoping to not be a non-select within the next few months (crosses fingers).

I know four languages, but I speak them all with an accent because I seldom have the opportunity to speak them; however, I tend to understand them just fine. Additionally, I can read and write elementary modern standard Arabic, but I'm working on it. I did not learn linguistics in school either, school sucks. I learn for the sole purpose of edification.

In the meantime, while waiting for the selection board to convene, I am a professional blues musician playing 8-12 shows a month, frequenting places like the Coyote Bar and Grill, Rookies, Hennessy's, occasionally Patrick's, and other places I can't think of or aren't worthy of mentioning lol. This is the same band that Billy Watson/ Nathan James/ Curtis Smith (from Janiva Magness's band)/ Chuck Berry's piano player/ and a few members from James Harman's band have been in at one point or another, so I guess I should be honored? Aside from music, I volunteer a minimum of 25 hours a month at various charities/organizations (and no, it's not court ordered, it's because I'm philanthropic by nature and like to help people lol). But, I'm a very kind and sweet person, so I hope you get to know me =).

As for who I'd like to meet, I'd just like to meet a girl who is kind, sweet, funny, and has a great big heart.

Playing chicken on the train tracks. Haha, maybe not. In all seriousness, I am an "open all doors, pull out all chairs for her" type, and I've always tried to live up to the title of gentleman...after all, I am applying to become a Marine officer. Chivalry may be an antiquated term, but not to me.
