I will be completely honest, I am only interested in people who live in the same area as me. I am not interested in starting a long distance relationship with someone online who lives across the country, its just not being very realistic. So, the New York area would be preferable. Also, I'm sorry but if you're 40 years old, I wont respond. I'd prefer someone closer to my own age, it's hard to put an exact limit but i'd say average, within 5 years or so of my age.

That being said, I would say I'm attracted to guys who dont take life tooo seriously. I'd rather a guy who isn't afraid to be goofy and fool around, rather than the guy who is too concerned with being the "cool guy." I can be shy, so it's important that you NOT be shy...the more outgoing you are, the easier it is for me to open up and be a bit outgoing as well. (Although don't be soooo outgoing that it is annoying lol) I love to laugh, and I like guys who can make me laugh easily. Guys who will encourage me to try new things (in all aspects of life), but who won't push me to do something I REALLY don't want to do. I do like to go out, but also like to stay in and just hang and watch movies...so it would be nice to meet someone who also likes those things like that...and not someone who ONLY wants to go out allll the time, or who ONLY wants to stay in all the time. Also, if you email me and all you say is "hi" or "hello" or "wuts up"....don't expect a response. At least try to come up with something a little more personalized and original than "hi." Or if you cant come up with anythin original on your own, comment on something you saw in my profile that sparked your interest. Anything to let me know that you aren't just sending me a generic email after viewing my default picture for 10 seconds....(we'll see how many guys actually take the time to read this...)


I love animals. So, I'd like a guy who at least doesn't hate them. I love dogs, (my dog lives w/ my parents tho since I moved out to an apartment in the city..not the ideal place for a dog) and I recently adopted a bunny.

Someone recently asked me if I was a girly girl. I wasn't sure how to answer that. So I'll say this: I like having painted pink nails. I like dressing up once in a while to go out (and I think I clean up pretty good if ya ask me), but I live in tshirts and jeans (and the occassional girly sweatpants) and sneakers...I love shopping and have a purse and shoe addiction, but I also love going to baseball games (and wearing baseball hats when I dont feel like doing my hair all nice! lol). Not afraid to eat messy buffalo wings..(Hooters are the best!)...and on that note, I"m not afraid to eat in front of a guy. Some girls act like they dont need food to live, or only have 3 bites of a salad when out with a guy. Not me..I"m not a pig, but I do enjoy some good food lol. So...does that answer the question?

I want someone who appreciates the little things in life. When I'm with someone, I love coming up with little "just because" gifts for them, or homemade things. I like making someone happy with those type of things, so its important that my guy appreciate those kind of things.

I think a first date should be casual, public, no pressure, no expectations. Honestly...the perfect first date for me is more about the WHO than the WHAT...i could be in the most amazing place in the world, but it wont be a good date if it's not with an amazing person...works the other way also, I could be in the most average place, and yet it could be the perfect date if its with the most amazing person.
