I'm a big girl now and no longer believe in fairy tales. I am not a princess waiting for her prince nor am I a damsel in distress in need of rescue.
What I AM is an independent and confident woman who is capable of replacing the flow valve on her toilet and changing the windshield wipers on her car.

I've put together a short list of things that best sum up who I am.
I do community service...that is NOT mandated by the courts (haha)
I LOVE the Power yoga class I take twice a week.
I read voraciously...primarily fiction but I do enjoy explorers' biographies
I’m currently working on my master’s degree and am down to my last semester! Yippee!
I listen to classical music on the way into work and 93Rock on the way home.
You would be hard pressed to find a "girl" who is a bigger 007 fan than I am
I have no qualms about spending all of Sunday afternoon on the couch watching football.
Watch out! I am oddly good at Jeopardy - and like to yell out the answers
I prefer to go to the beach to swim rather than take part in the "see and be seen" scene
When I go to the movies I get popcorn with the butter layered...but don't worry, I share!
I hate talk radio ( and this includes Morning Shows ) Yes, hate is a strong word but this is the way I feel.
Sarcasm is one thing, mean-spiritedness is another


I am a good person and have a good life...just looking for someone to share that with.

For a first date, it would be fun to go on the Fort Lauderdale "Ghost Tour" downtown. Slightly touristy and slightly cheesy but I'm sure it would be a good time (or at least something to laugh at).
