i like to spend time at the beach with a walk, swim or kayak. i started playing doubles tennis last year. i enjoy golfing and need to practice. i retired in 2002 from teaching in ohio. i volunteer at palm cottage in naples in season. i like to go to the library weekly and view movies, listen to music, and read new novels. i like gardening and joined the orchid society of naples; also, the audobon society. my undergraduate degree is in biology; my master's is in educational counseling. i live in fl. with travel in the summer to ohio to see my family and friends. i also enjoy the foliage and lake erie. i like art and enjoy galleries. i like music that you can dance to and relax with. i like to dance and attend some singles dances in the area for activity. i like to travel and recently took a trip to alaska on my own.

on a first date i would like to get to know the person that i was out with. i would like to have a good time and laugh together at one another's remarks. we could do something athletic and have a meal afterwards to be more comfortable with one another. or we could go and listen to some good music and dance and have a glass of wine to celebrate a nice evening together.
