I'm a pretty laid back person, my feelings don't get hurt easily. Definitely file me under "sarcastic/ironic" humor wise. I'm at a point in my life where the world is wide open to me and I'm basically happy as a clam. I'm close to my family, with a brother here in Austin and my folks in Houston. I also have a beautiful daughter from a previous marriage who lives with her mom. Most of my life has been spent in Texas, although I lived for 6 or 7 years out in California. Regardless of where I eventually end up, Texas will always be home, that much is sure!

I'm not religious, but you could probably call me spiritual. I think there has to be something bigger than all this, but to say what seems a bit presumptuous as a mere man. On a skin deep level, I have 2 tattoos, one tribal one tiki. They occupy real estate on my right leg, opposing sides. ;)

I try my best to ignore the heat, go out camping at least a couple times a month. Some of my real passions are abstract painting and collecting tribal art. I'm learning to sculpt so I can start creating my own line of tiki mugs. Sometimes when I get cabin fever I go on long drives and stop at all the historical markers. I love going on camping trips out west or into Hill Country, especially on clear nights when you can watch the stars. While I'm not really a "sports guy" I am looking forward to the new Texas Stars hockey team playing here in Austin.

-Music: Lounge/Exotica, Jungle, Reggae, Punk/Hardcore, Rock but not Roll. I'm learning guitar and working on not being shy to sing. I used to produce dance music, many brain cells ago.

-Books: Just about anything. Some people like almost all music, I like all literature.

-Spots: Greenbelt, Bull Creek Park, E-Rock, Pedernales Falls, Walnut Creek, Lake Travis, Spider House coffee shop (I'll be the only guy without a laptop :( )

-Television: I let the DVR watch it for me. That said I'll watch a couple Simpsons or South Park before bed, but I rarely just sit there and stare.

-Movies: Documentaries first and foremost. I've always found myself vastly more entertained by real events and true stories than a script.
