i'm ez-going, emotionally secure, a romantic/handholder, frequent kisser who wants to be with someone who will laff w/me. not an emotional game player, not much of a group participant, my sports enthusiasm limited to lakers and dodgers. am close to my very small family. enjoy a drive to the wine country, a bingo day in a non-smoking facility (which means i don't do it much), being in the house (or not) on rainy days, confess to being an AmIdol junkie (and 2-1/2 men/Bill Maher/DougMcIntyre/BigBang Theory, etc); xword puzzles; an occasional day at the horse races (i pick my winners by horse name -- consequently i still have to work for a living!). RU clever? do U enjoy words? i do not get very annoyed other than by people who do not know how to make a left turn from the center of an intersection, but cannot abide people who are rude or arrogant. my favorite words are cherish, acceptance, whimsy, loyalty, serendipity. i do not swim, hike, jog, ride a bike, snorkel, but do keep myself medically fit. i am comfortable, fun to be around & do not take people or life for granted. my backgammon and scrabble skills aren't what they used to be, but i'm still willing to be your adversary. i still work and will continue to do so for a while. am hoping to find that relationship that will take us both to the ends of time. i am a simple lady (despite the jewelry) with simple needs and wants, and want a best friend, sweetie and lover who feels the same way. i'm looking for 'comfortable' -- don't need to set the world on fire.

i want someone i can laff with (ok -- you can laff at me if you need to), exchange romances, can confide in and be emotionally charged; someone who does not have to be on the go all the time; someone who follows thru with actions rather than just being nice with words; someone with whom emotional passion is as strong as physical passion; someone who has integrity and character, is trusting and trustworthy; he is not impressed with WHO he is but is confident IN who he is; he is calm, dependable, responsible; he does 'surprise' things for me on no special occasion (i, of course, already know how to do those things!); we can tolerate each other's foibles and idiosyncracies (of course, i really don't have any); "adoring" is essential. sensitive -- caring (did i mention a white horse?) -- and want someone who understands that a 62-yr old (even tho i feel as tho i am still 35) cannot compete with a 42-year old woman in most ways. he is well-groomed (plz -- no facial hair! -- well, ok, if you must) -- and you MUST have a keen sense of humor (being a "sweet" kisser is also a plus).

i don't consider a first meeting a first date; so, with regard to a 'first encounter,' i like to do brunch, lunch, dinner with someone -- and not just "coffee" -- i think it takes a little time to assess each other. i'm not really good with the "phone interview" thing -- i think a face-to-face is just more honest and telling.

but should there be a first date, i would not want to give any cliche answers -- there is just too much of a variety of things to do and i don't want to pigeonhole a response.
