Well, I'm Ben, I have 5 piercings, 4 in my ears, one in my lip, and 4 tattoos all on my arms thus far. I am very into music. You probably wont ever catch me not listening to some kind of music or making my own. I know how to play guitar, bass guitar, drums, some piano, and some cello. I also love to cook, and I'm being formally trained to become a chef. I work at The Hotel Baker in St. Charles, and I absolutely love it. I would eventually like to open my own restaurant and/or bar some day.

As for my personality, I'm extremely easy to get along with. Usually if you start burning bridges there's no going back, although I find myself forgiving people when I know I shouldn't. That is the reason why I'm very straight forward and I don't play mind games. I don't waste people's time because I dont have the time to waste myself. I'm rather sarcastic, I usually joke a lot. I'm not one to intrude and I'm pretty damn good at not getting into other peoples business. The way I see it, if I'm not involved, I wont worry about it unless the other person is upset. I find myself helping others before I help myself. I'm not the selfish type at all. I'm not really the jealous type. However, if something questionable arises, I will not be afraid to ask. It's not easy to hide things from me, so don't bother trying. I'm fiercely protective of those close to me, and nothing peeves me more than people knowingly putting themselves in bad situations. I tend to put in my two cents at that point. Three good words to sum it up would be honest, loyal, and blunt. In a girl, I'm looking for about the same qualities. I'm looking for someone that can hold a mentally stimulating conversation, but knows how to have fun. I am somewhat arguementative, but not one to pick fights, so the same qualities in someone else should compliment well. I'm quite sick of the juvenile bullsh*t that people love to pull so much, and I always see it before it happens. I still have yet to be proven wrong when I can see something coming up. Just looking for an honest and sound relationship. I never thought it was too much to expect, but I always seem to be proven wrong.

Musically, I'm open to new things, but I'm not a fan of Rap/Hip-Hop. I won't belittle you for your taste in music, though. I'm into metal of all kinds, mostly foreign, because i cant seem to find any true American talent, except for a small handful. Death and Black metal are my favorites. Progressive and Power metal are up there. However, I grew up on Chicago (the band) so I gotta give them props. I also like classical, classic rock, and the like. If you like something else, I might say something, but I won't bother trying to change your mind about it, or explain why I think it's bad unless you ask my opinion. To each his or her own, I guess you could say.

I'm not too picky about what happens. Typically, dinner is involved whether I'm cooking or at a restaurant, followed by walks, movies, etc. I leave it up for discussion. I'm not opposed to curling up on the couch with a movie if that's what she (you?) want. If Its a date, don't expect me to let you pay for yourself either. Or any other time for that matter honestly.
