Ugh. I dislike impromptu ramblings about myself. I know I'm unique and exceptional, but you will either get to know that or you won't. What I say here probably isn't really going to affect the outcome either way.

I am incredibly independent--seriously--but that doesn't mean I'm antisocial. What I'm looking for is my equal...in intelligence, humor, looks, ambition, essential nerdiness and goofiness. I like to discuss esoteric things and just plain have fun. Have any cool traveling experiences? I'd love to hear about them!

I do love to eat and to drink good beer and wine. And although I would appreciate a man who can cook, please note that I am a vegetarian, and offering to cook me a steak isn't going to make me very excited. But if you're willing to take on a new dish just to please me, you could score some serious points.

I take care of myself, as much as my busy schedule allows, and am currently training for a half-marathon. Did you notice the "busy schedule" phrase up above? It's true! Not just sayin' it to say it! I have a busy life but usually manage to find time for fun and friends. I love my space but would like to meet someone who makes life a little more interesting. Mind you, it's pretty darn interesting already, but I'm easily bored. :) If you like what you read, drop me a line.

No small talk! Coffee or a (good) beer would be OK, though trite. Something unusual would be cool. Anything that doesn't make me feel like I'm on a job interview. I won't grill you if you won't grill me!
