I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, tried caving (spelunking) and love it, singing, and photography. I love peace and quiet. I hope to meet someone who enjoy the same things I like and appreciate the little rewards in our daily life. I love to stop and take my time to enjoy the view when I am outdoors. I love to rough things out when backpacking in the wilderness and be a kid again, bathe in the lake, wait for the sunrise and sunset, look up to the stars and clearly see the milky way, full moon, and so much more. I also enjoy regular camping with facilities for comfort and day hike within the area.

I enjoy watching movies at home, spending time with my son when he is with me, and sometimes reading romance fiction books. I love to volunteer at least once or twice a year. I love my job and it is a privilege to be of service to the public. One day, I plan to move up and reward myself the fulfillment of being able to help victims of crime.

I am not rich and I am not hunting for a rich partner. If there is "chemistry" between us, I just want the man and not his material things. I am a proud owner of 7 tents (snow, summer, ultralight, car camping, etc) and that is more than enough for me. At this age, the best things in life are happiness and health. I hope to find the one I can share quiet moments, fun, adventures, and laughter. I love to take photos, so one who is comfortable in front of the camera would be nice and we can pose with the beautiful mountains and lakes. I hope to find someone who loves to hike and backpack, honest, thoughtful, and a romantic gentleman for a serious and/or long term relationship.

A nice walk will be a great first date, or picnic. Coffee shop? I love coffee, but my experience with coffee shop felt like job interviews...let's walk!
