I like all kinds of music and movies, one day it might be Andrea Bocelli (opera) and the next may be Infected Mushroom (electronica/dance) and the next may be Toby Keith (country). Do you know who Stevie Ray Vaughan is? One of my all time favorites, that's who. Other than that, the Beastie Boys (License to Ill album) will always have a spot in my play lists. One of my all time favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama, although I'm also quite fond of the Saw series, and pretty much anything in-between is good with me too. I don't watch TV all that much and I'm not in to professional sports at all, but can enjoy watching a game.

I love boating and pretty much anything that has to do with water. I have a boat that loves to breakdown all the time (UPDATE: Sold the boat) and also have the skills to fix it and almost anything else. I also have an old stand-up Jet ski and am thinking of getting rid of it unless I can find more people to go out with... it gets kind of old all by your self, but it is a good workout.(UPDATE: Sold the Jet Ski too) I have an infatuation with the river, which is actually the whole reason I moved to Sacramento. I spent many many summers growing up house boating the Delta with the family. It's really a large part of my life and almost like a family symbol for all of us.

I love my job! I've been a waiter for more years than I like to admit, but honestly... I Love it!, and the industry as a whole. I'm currently climbing the ladder at work, into management. I love waiting tables, but just don't want to be "that" guy that's the 40 yr old waiter. (UPDATE: I haven't waited tables in over a month, I don't miss it like I thought I would. Really enjoying the challenges of learning to master all my new responsibilities) I'm also looking to ultimately settle down and have some kids. All part of the plan I guess.

I'm a very passionate lover and like to spend a lot of time together with the right person. I like to massage and be massaged. Love to cuddle, even through the night. I'm not one who needs their own side of the bed, I'm happy to be your pillow and think it's cute if you snore a bit. I like showers together. I enjoy candle lit bubble baths occasionally, with soft music and love to give them too. Maybe come in and rub your feet a bit while you soak... Alright, I'm going to have to stop here... I'm starting to ramble a bit. Sorry.

On the whole I'm very relaxed and laid back, but people tell me that in crisis situations I'm the one they look for to take care of things. My family calls me their anchor, all my friends call me for life advice, and mere acquaintances tell me the most intimate details of their lives. I guess I'm just one of those people that you go to.

Yet, one more update... I've had a bit more response to my profile than I originally thought I would get, and with my promise to write all of you back... it's really quite time consuming and honestly I feel like an azzhole writing so many letters just to say "thank you, but after reading your profile, I just don't think we're a match". Just thought I'd write a little more about what I think I'm looking for, or what attributes I'm typically attracted to.

Mentally/emotionally: I look for someone who likes to spend lots of time together. Someone who is outwardly loving and compassionate to people in their lives. Who is adventurous in spirit, creative, and optimistic. Who is quicker to find the positives, than the negatives in what life deals out. Who is able to trust other people and empower them, even if they have made mistakes. Someone who sees a relationship as one team and not two.

Physically: I'm typically attracted to very petite ladies. I'm not a "boob guy", large breasts are cool, don't get me wrong, but they come way after a pretty smile and twinkly eyes... which would be preceded by nice legs, a cute butt (not the big J-Lo type either, suppose I'm kinda old school here, but LL Cool J can have his Big 'Ol Butt and Sir Mix Alot can have his too), and a great attitude.

Age: This is not important enough to me to mention much about. My thoughts are... "if it works, then it works". One serious restriction is, if you think you're too old to have children... probably not going to be a match. I really really really want to have some children and start a family in the not too distant future. Another serious restriction is if you think you're way to young to have children. I'm very patient and don't want to rush into anything, but if you don't want to have children for at least another 5-10 years... again, probably not a match.

First? Absolute first? Maybe Coffee, just so we can verify that we (me and you) are not weirdos.

From there I like to do things that are different and leave an impression. Thinking a picnic basket, blanket, couple subway sandwiches, bottle of wine, and a Frisbee in a quiet neighborhood park.

Or, dinner at an eclectic downtown restaurant, followed by some coctails at some hole in the wall pub. If things are still going well, campfire on the beach.

I heard there is an indoor surfing place somewhere around here. That would most certainly be an option for me if you're game.
