I love the outdoors in any season, but especially gardening and working in my yard in spring and summer. I like to travel both the Chicago area and away. I'm very active, and love to hike and bike, attend local events, museums, flea markets, and festivals. Woodworking projects such as building and refinishing, and into home improvement. Enjoy cookouts and am actually a very good cook, both in the kitchen and at the grill. I'm a very down-to-earth person, not overly complicated. Intelligent, outgoing and personable. My most important features are honesty and a strong sense of consideration toward others.

To me a first date is a time to get to know each other. We obviously don't "click" with everyone, and this is a time to find out if there is, or could possibly be mutual attraction. A first date is something simple, like a movie, a cup of coffee, drink, walk on a lakefront, or a bite to eat.
