Hi. I'm looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with. I got married when I was 44--divorced a year later. (I'll tell you what happened if you ask.) I'm casual, smart, and laid back. I have a lot of interests, and like to do a lot of different things, but I like being comfortable at home, too.

I like people who don't take themselves too seriously, and that's pretty important to me. People who think they're really important or really something special--well, that's just a big turnoff to me.

I'm quite a bit younger than my age, by the way. (Not that I'm trying to be; that's just the way it is.)

I am often unconventional in my thinking and behavior. For example, if you think it's weird to eat anything other than breakfast food for breakfast, you might want to pass me by. (That's just one little example.)

Good chemistry. If the chemistry is right between two people, some or even a lot of these other things can be compromised, don't you think?

If I don't get back to you right away, don't automatically assume that's a negative. Sometimes it takes me a while.

When meeting someone I don't know (like someone I met online, for instance), meeting for coffee or a Coke in a very casual place is pretty much mandatory, I think. We've got to be able to talk. That and chemistry are pretty important.
