I am looking for the person that just clicks with me. I am not some cookie cutter prefabbed mass produced personality. It took years and years of hard work to get this weird. I am not into money, power, gold mines, oil wells, shipping or real estate. There is so much more in the world besides possessions (okay do not even think about touching my iPod) to focus yourself on. My ambition resides else where.

Friendship is one of the keys to a lasting relationship and it is a must for me. Trust, honesty and communication are so important its funny you even have to say it. When I call someone friend I mean it and will have their back at every step. You must love animals and have an understanding that they also inhabit the Earth with us. I'd rather go for a 15 mile hike than a 15 minute run. I like to take the time to stop and enjoy the moment. It is about the journey and not the destination.

I love music, it is in every part of my life. From playing guitar to going out and catching the local bands to cranking the stereo in my car and singing along (I crank it so no one is forced to listen to me sing), music is always around. Heading out to the local dive to check some raw energy rock is like manna from heaven. Now to find that perfect blues spot for when the ears need a break.

Next to music being outdoors is my favorite thing to do. Hiking in the desert is so incredible, It has taken me years to truly appreciate it but now I cannot think of anywhere I would rather be than wandering the desert.

I am so open minded, I fear my brains just might fall out some day! I wish I could take credit for that line. Even though it is not mine even its a perfect description. My golden rule is it is okay as long as no one is harmed. It truly does not bother me what you do, how you do it, with whom you do it or what entity you pray to while doing it as long as you are not putting another in harm's way.

I live a pretty casual life style and just go with the flow. No need to plan things out way in advance, just do it when the opportunity arises. Of course sometimes this conflicts with having to be at work early the next morning but I am here to enjoy life. With that said, I am employed and have been steadily employed since forever. I realize the bills have to get paid, so I go to work. I have been told I come off like a hippie but carry an edge in person. So I guess that makes me an edgy hippie.

My match will be a lot like me in that care-free, down to earth, casual view on life. We both will know chemistry is important but so is forming a true friendship that will last. We both will not be afraid to speak our minds no matter what. There really is no one type that I like, as long as you are open minded and tolerant of others even when their views conflict with your own, we will probably get along famously.

I also enjoy spell check and despise Caps Lock. Now that I said that, I am sure I will get some emails about words I misspelled and poor grammar choices. ;)
