The whole reason I am on here is because meeting someone worth while doesn't typically happen in a bar or club, and being new to the DC area doesn't make meeting people any easier. For the most part, I'm laid back, yet very outgoing. I like to bike when I get the chance, though everyone gives the bike trails around here too much credit. I like to play soccer, beach volleyball, golf, basketball, really anything that I'm in the mood for at any given time. If I could be anywhere, it would be the beach.

I want to meet someone intelligent that can hold up her end of the conversation. I have to be attracted to her, as she needs to be to me; if that sounds shallow, I'm sorry, but it's reality. If you think otherwise, you're fooling yourself. I want someone that's active, enjoys being outside, listening to music, going out to dinner, cooking at home, curling up and watching a movie some nights while going out others. I could list all the different things I like and don't like, but ultimately, it's all about the feeling you get when you're with someone.

The safe bet is coffee or drinks, if it goes well possibly move onto dinner. But it would be a lot more fun to do something different... go to a driving range, bowling, museums, kick around a soccer ball, something where you can be yourself, have fun, and remove some of the tension of the first date.
