I am wanting to find a guy that we can share mutual interest as well as being able to respect each others need for their own space.

I am a Summer, hot weather, kind of person, and really enjoy the time that I do get to spend outside either working on my tan, taking care of my yard, playing with my 2 dogs or taking vacations on a beach.

I have been lucky enough to be able to travel to a lot of different states here in the US, as well as several foreign countries. I have walked on the Great Wall of China, in Brasil been down part of the Amazon River in a canoe, toured Iceland in the Winter, argued with taxi driver in Japan that an extra taxi was not needed for business associate and myself luggage, eaten blow fish in Hong Kong and lived to tell about it and seen Santa Clause village in Northern Finland.

I grew up in the hippie era, and rock is my preference in music, with Journey and Heart being my favorites. My ipod is almost full of music from the 70's and 80s.

I have signed up to participate in the 60 mile, 3 Day Walk for breast cancer that will take place in Dallas in November this year. The most recent goal I have set for myself is to be prepared physically for the task. I enjoy walking on the trails around my home, and was walking 40 miles in a week, but never 20 miles in a day. I try to go to the gym as much as my time allows, but do not usually make it as much as I think I need to go or would like to.

UPDATE: The 3 day walk for breast cancer is over and I walked ALL 60 miles.

At my job, I spend a lot of my time in my office in front of a computer solving issues, creating spreadsheets and powerpoint presentations or looking for more options. It has been said that I am a direct and to the point kind of woman.

On the first date, I would like to meet, and over a glass of wine, or drink of preference get to know each other a little better.
