How simple things makes me happy.

I am an average happy go lucky can of girl. The simple things make me happy. We live in such a fast pace world that the little thing gets unnoticed. Like sitting by the window watching the rain fall softly against the window pane. Watching the lighting in the distance flashes the sky with multiple colors that we did not even know were there. Much less a smile from a stranger, a touch from someone you love. These are the things I find that make me happy.

I have been divorced for three years after a marriage of 22 years. I have a 21 year old son, who works part-time and is in college.

I am very loyal to my family, friends and career. I was raised in a Christian family household. My father was a want to be preacher and my mother a house wife. My friends tell me that I am to easy going and that they feel like they take advantage of me. My best friend just had her first baby and I am the god mother of the child. At work I like to make little jokes to break up the day. The girls tell me when I am out on vacation that the days were long and quite.

I feel like time is the most precious gift you can receive or give. It is hard with our hurry lifestyles that we have time to give. I volunteer several times a month and my passion is with the elderly.
Yes, this is a summary of who I am but it is not what I am.
I am a very self confidence person; it does not bother me to eat in a restaurant by myself. I like being independent and exploring new areas. Enjoy going to the pub and watch football. Listen to a band play, but still able to think and talk without yelling over the music. On vacations I like exploring the history and culture of the area, but also like to take a break by the pool or beach.
Not afraid of much, done things that my friends would not try, like skydiving, backpacking and hunting.
My ideal match would be someone who is happy, soft spoken and likes to explore. looking for a committed relationship that will grow and get stronger with time.
